Before, After and Holiday Care
ISMS operates in-house staffed Before, After and Holiday Care programs to support families with a need for high-quality care outside of the dedicated school hours.
Care can be booked on a permanent or casual basis. The programs are government approved Child Care Services so parents may be eligible to claim a Child Care Rebate from Centrelink for the fees for these services.
Breakfast Club
All Balmain campus children (Stages 1 to 3) are welcome to join this program, offered before school, from 7:30am to 8:30am. A nutritious breakfast is provided within this time.
Elouera: Beautiful Place (3 – 6 years)
Elouera provides an Extended Day program of care and education in a relaxed Montessori-like environment. Elouera is staffed by an Early Childhood trained teacher and an Assistant.
ISMS After School Care is available on site at the Balmain campus for Preschool children or 3:00pm – 6:00pm for ‘Extended Day’ (Kindergarten) children. The School transports children from the Lilyfield campus to Elouera at noon or 3:00pm for the corresponding sessions. A nutritious afternoon tea is provided within this time.
Nangkita: Place of Little Frogs (6 – 12 years)
Nangkita provides After School Care for Primary aged children staffed by a Co-ordinator and Assistants. The session is from 3:00pm – 6:00pm at the Balmain campus. A nutritious afternoon tea is provided within this time.
Holiday Care
Holiday Care offers socialisation with peers, opportunities to engage in hobbies such as sport, science experiments, cooking, story-telling, drama and craft activities as well as other popular interests children wish to pursue whilst in care. A variety of incursions and excursions are also on offer.
Holiday Care operates in term breaks except for four weeks over the summer holidays and on dedicated pupil free days.
