French is offered as an extra-curricular option at ISMS. Two lunchtime classes run throughout the school year – one for beginners and another for a continuers group.
French Club participants learn French and experience Francophone culture in a fun environment through music and singing, games, craft, written activities and stories.
Like Spanish, French is widely spoken and taught throughout the world. Learning a foreign language gives students a deeper understanding of their first language. It also helps students develop a broad range of communicative, creative and critical thinking skills while fostering cross-cultural awareness and a global perspective.
