Outside of School Hours Care

Our Outside of School Hours Care (OOSH) program encompasses before school care, after school care, holiday care and extended care. The OOSH program is run in-house delivered by ISMS staff. The program is grounded in Montessori principles, providing a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 2.5 to 12 years. Care is divided into two age groups: one for children 26 months to 6 years, and another for those aged 6 to 12 years.

Our dedicated educators create a warm, supportive space where children feel valued and safe. The program balances structured activities and free play, encouraging creativity, independence, and social connections. Through a Montessori approach, children explore their interests at their own pace, build meaningful relationships, and develop essential life skills. 

Guided by children's interests and backgrounds, OOSH offers hands-on activities such as baking, creative arts, science exploration, storytelling, physical education, music, and construction-based play. Outdoor play promotes physical activity and nature exploration.

During school holidays, the program brings exciting themed experiences and incursions that nurture children's curiosity, ensuring each child’s time is both enjoyable and enriching.

Our OOSH program is available on an ongoing or casual (with 48 hours notice) basis.

Program Details

Before School Care (including breakfast): Open 7:30 am to 8:30 am, catering to children aged 3 to 12 years.

After School Care (including afternoon tea): Operates from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday during term time. The program is divided into two age groups: 

• Transition to Children's House and Children's House: 3 to 6 years; 
• Upper Primary and Lower Primary: 6 to 12 years. 

Holiday Program: operates during non-term time from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. 

Holiday Program Extended Care: operates during non-term time from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
