Going Out Form

‘Going Out’ Permission Form (Stage 2 & 3 only)

Maria Montessori recognised that children in 6-12 classes are in need of a dual environment, which is found within the Montessori classroom and outside the classroom. Going out offers the child the opportunity to follow their interests, develop their independence and build social skills within the local community.

As part of the ‘Going Out’ programme at ISMS, we would like to make it possible for the children to have the opportunity to plan and implement spontaneous excursions to local areas within Balmain and Rozelle, for example the shops, library and other facilities.  

If you would like your child to participate in these ‘Going Out’ activities which are accompanied by at least two adults one of which will be either the Class Director or Assistant, please sign below. You will be notified by the Class Director if your child is participating in a ‘Going Out’ activity.

Permission remains in place whilst your child is enrolled in Stages 2 and 3 at ISMS unless revoked through written authorisation.
