Bollywood and Bellylaughs
A parents’, friends and staff event, Bollywood and Bellylaughs, was a hugely successful and well-attended highlight of this year’s social calendar. Attendees revelled in a night of laughs, great music, amazing decorations, Indian Cuisine, Chai tinis and importantly, the silent auction which featured beautiful collaborative artworks from each class.
Bollywood and Bellylaughs was inspired by the vibrant Indian community, and in future years the committee looks forward to working with our diverse student and parent body to create other similarly themed events. Funds raised will contribute to the future redevelopment of outdoor learning spaces.
Huge thanks go to the night’s entertainers. Gary Eck and Tommy Dean for their fabulous comedy. Rebekka Neville and Jessica O’Donoghue and their bands for the amazing music. Vidhya and her friends for the wonderful dancing.
School fundraising never happens without a dedicated and energetic fundraising team. The School is grateful to all who gave their time in the months, weeks and days leading up to the event. And those who coordinated activities and made sure everything went smoothly on the night. In particular, thanks goes to Kate, Suzana, Emma, Nadina, Caterina, Olivia, Sally and Meagan for their tremendous contribution.
