Inner Sydney Montessori School during COVID-19

ISMS extends our thoughts and best wishes to the global community so greatly impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Maria Montessori expressed that “the child is both a hope and promise for mankind” and our role, every day, and in this time more than ever, is to nurture and support the development of the child within our own and our extended community. We continue to deliver to our current and prospective families, within the recommendations and regulations set out by government and relevant professional bodies. Our agile response is governed by a committee, who meet daily.

Our students are currently learning in person on-site at our campuses. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, we have remote learning programs prepared for all of our Stage 1-3 children, should we need to undertake periods of remote learning, to ensure continuity of the children’s education in situations where that is recommended for the safety of our children, staff and community as per the advice and directives of the respective government agencies.

COVID-19 communication updates and resources are available through our Intranet for current Preschool and Primary families.

Prospective families of younger children and infants are invited to join our online Infant Community over the coming months.

We are continuing to waitlist, interview via Google Meet, and offer for 2020 and 2021 placements now. Visit our School, virtually, by viewing A Montessori Day in Film or join a virtual tour

We look forward to talking with you to see how we may support you over this time.
