A New Term

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Today, one of my first interactions after my curbside greetings was an approach by a Stage Two girl. She came to see me as she made her way along the corridor to class. It was simply to show me her story that she had been working on in the final days of the holiday.

It was in book form, stapled and accompanied by her sketches illustrating aspects of the beautifully written story. I sat with her and we talked about the process and the story itself. This is a Montessori moment and for me it was an absolute pleasure. A great way to start the day.

It is for innocent, quite simple moments like this that we teachers do what we do.

Have a great term everyone.

Warm regards,
Bill
