Outback Trivia Night

The Outback at ISMS!

With the gracious planning and assistance of parents and staff within our community, our School Courtyard and Hall were transformed into our own Aussie pub last Friday evening.

A great night was had by all and we thank all for attending, bidding at the Silent Auction and supporting our School!

We were honoured to have former student and talented singer and songwriter, Lili Alaska, perform for all! Our thanks to Lili and Peter for setting the scene so beautifully with their music.

Let’s not forget the Trivia! We wondered, just how well did everyone know our own backyard? The Trivia content, and varied responses, generated much laughter, and the excitement of a tie-break to conclude the event!

The children and their teachers never fail to amaze us with their creativity and teamwork, producing some beautiful artworks reflecting our Australian outback. We are particularly proud of this year’s achievement as our staff and students took on this task without our usual ‘resident artist’ input.

Many local businesses generously donated to the auction and we ask that everyone keeps them in mind when in need of a particular product or service. The proceeds, still being finalised, will go towards establishing a library for classrooms across the School campuses.

We all look forward to these annual events where our parents can come together as a group and take time to catch-up. We are also thrilled to have had so many of our staff present this year.

So many have contributed in so many ways from sourcing auction donations, setting up, cleaning up, collecting props and more. We thank each and everyone of our community for the contributions made.

Thank you for your time, company and support!
