Coding in Nangkita

This week, our Stage 2 and 3 children attending Out of School Hours care, have been busy building creative games, stories and animations. We are using a free children’s program as an educational tool to introduce coding that is called Scratch or Scratch Jr, on Apple devices.

Scratch was developed by MIT Media Lab and it can be used to mix together different media including sounds, pictures and animations in creative ways by creating and remixing projects.
